Old St. Mary's is a historic Roman Catholic parish in Philadelphia's Society Hill (248 S. Fourth Street) that opened in 1763 as the city's second Catholic church; it served as the first cathedral of the Diocese of Philadelphia (1810-1838) and hosted early commemorations of the Declaration of Independence attended by figures such as George Washington and John Adams.
