First United Methodist Church of Corpus Christi is a Methodist congregation founded in 1853; its facilities served the community as a schoolhouse and emergency hospital during 19th-century yellow fever epidemics, and it moved to its Shoreline location by 1955.

A personal welcome from me: Live Church Network is being built to help every church have a welcoming online home and help every person find a community where they belong. Whether you are here to discover a church, grow your church community, share a prayer, or simply look around, I am glad you are here. Please send me your ideas, feedback, and the features that would make this platform more helpful for you. We are building this together. — Mike
